NEWBORN

73.jpg

I am so proud to say I have been snuggling babies (and getting paid for it) for over 10 years. I am also a mama to two amazing kiddos. I know it can be hectic the morning of photos so please do not stress over this guide but rather see it as a helpful tool for both of us.
I want to give you the absolute best experience + images of your sweet baby and family.

If you have any questions, I am just an email away!

Please try to baby up the morning of our session (even just for a bit so baby hasn't slept heavy all morning), then right before you leave, give them breast or bottle, so they can be sleepy and full on your way here.  Normally during that car ride and a full belly, they fall into a deep sleep. I ask you dress them in a zipper sleeper (no onesie underneath) so I can get them out of the car seat to easily undress them when you arrive. This really helps not having to wake baby up first thing. If you're allowing your baby to take a paci, please please bring it with you. I know this early in life, a lot of newborns do not take a paci regularly however it really helps sooth them during transitioning into different poses for some babies. You'd be surprised how many babies take a paci at the studio but not at home :)

The studio will be very warm to keep baby comfortable, around 80 degrees. They are used to being in a very warm and snuggly womb so I try to mimic that in my studio with white noise and heat. I recommend packing some comfy clothes to change into once your portion of the session is over. Water +snacks are great too especially for older siblings.
