I love this milestone, it really is such a big jump from our newborn session since baby is wiggling around lots, making noises, learning head control, finding their hands and sometimes playing with their little toes! To capture this milestone I will do poses of baby on their back, their belly, and prop them up in chairs and boxes. For outfits, I have everything you need at the studio however if you want to bring something of your own, send me a photo via email so I can plan setups for you. Also, fill out the questionnaire down below so I can have some things laid out for you.
Boys: I have pants, rompers, and hats in various colors/styles. I have them color coordinated on a rack and you will have time to look through those before our session. If you get overwhelmed and you would like me to surprise you instead, please tell me ahead of time and I will set up before you arrive! If you have a request, send it to me and I will add it to the studio collection!
Girls: I have every kind of headband your heart could imagine but if you are a mama that prefers the large head wraps, feel free to bring those with you! For outfits, I have a huge collection of different colors and styles. I have them color coordinated on a rack and you will have time to look through those before our session. If you get overwhelmed and you would like me to surprise you instead, please tell me ahead of time and I will set up before you arrive! For the last setup, I love doing a very simple and monochromatic.

Six months is my favorite milestone! Babies are really starting to get a personality and I love being able to capture that! Poses I typically do at this age is baby on their back, sitting up (or propping baby in a basket, bowl, etc. if they are not sitting quite yet), laying on their belly and some try crawling at this age too. This is a great time for family photos since baby can see further away now and we can capture those big smiles! Need help dressing everyone? Shoot me an email and we will get to planning! For the other two setups, I have tons of outfits in the studio for you to use. Some clients love to celebrate 1/2 birthdays at this session or do a milk bath. If already introduced to food, I have done fruit setups with strawberries, lemons and other fruit. All are an option, just reach out to me and we can discuss details about what you have in mind! Nine months is so fun to capture! At this age baby is crawling or maybe trying, sitting up, trying to stand while holding onto something and I have had some walkers already too! I do try to capture some back poses but that gets harder as baby gets more mobile so we just go with the flow and what baby wants to do.I have parents ask to sometimes do milk baths, let baby eat fruit like strawberries, lemons, etc.or even do a paint setup (baby wears a white onesie and paints a canvas as a keepsake!)
